It's quite simple really. Indian run casinos are abusing their reservations and rights for tax evasion. We are not talking small time or even million dollar, white collar tax evasion. That might seem like a chunk of change to people, but remember we are talking about establishments that generate that in a week or month.

Ok... yes bring on the ancient history cries about manifest destiny and how we wronged the indians out of their land. I agree, some tactics were WRONG. Slavery was wrong... a LOT of things in history were shameful and WRONG, but this is 21st century America. It's time to get past that and come to mutual terms, that benefits and respects everyone.

I agree! Lets do it to them AGAIN. Tear up those nasty treaties!! Bushifest Destiny or is that only for overseas?

Now if they want to build OFF the res, then they need to pay the taxes.

Did the treaties guarantee unlimited tax free income, that comes from otherwise, tax paying citizens? I am not asking in a sarcastic way... I have never read the treaties. I am interested in the specifics of them, because even the Constitution has been deciphered in many ways, depending on what a judge claims is justified.
