directnic name transfer?

I am having trouble transfering a name to networksolutions that is currently registered at directnic.

So instead I created a directnic account and clicked on domain transfer, expecting that would send an email to the current owner.

Instead I immediately get "domain not approved". And they have no phone number, humbug...

You're kidding right?

You're transfering a domain TO Network Solutions FROM DirectNIC?

Are you nuts?!

I guess since you are doing that you are too thick to find their phone number clearly posted on their site.

What he said!

Nobody in their right mind would transfer a domain from DirectNic to netsol. Why not just put your nuts in a vise and give it a good twist.

Nope, not kidding.

Netsol is the best for me. I have a deciated account rep that answers on the second ring, and don't care if they cost more, the best is worth it.

Well, aside from the fact that moving a domain FROM Directnic to NetSol is just nuts - have you checked to make sure you don't have the top level of security on that domain? If you do, then you need to take it off before it can be moved.

If that's not the problem, why not contact DirectNic? They actually answer and deal with problems - unlike NetSol.

And sometimes you may even get somebody who manages directNIC respond here. I am not read the boards everyday, but at least once a week.

Hit me an email at [email protected] and I'll see if I can take care of you.
