Does reporting spam to spamcop really do anything? do they actually get people shut down?

many of them are corrupt and 'on the take'.... hell I'm certain many of them are spammers themselves...

 We have a double-optin list and get 2-3 spamcop complaints which result in blacklisting every time we mail it. Its complete BS since we have IP and timestamp of double opt-in, and usually a lot more info than that. |

Just thank god SPEWS is gone.
Spamcop isn't so bad. I used to work with them sometimes. But calling spews and dealing with them was like eating your own dick to stay alive while it is attached to your body.
