Few words about our Discount Pass Bucks
I respect Lensman as a business man, I like Lensman as a friend, I am a business man myself, this is a competitive industry, but were all professional and will all benefit from the hype of this great new business model. Internext was right around the time Visa announced 1% Charge back rules which is starting in October. Our minds at Platinum Bucks, Free Pass Bucks were all about getting under 1% New billing idea... $10 a month memberships, $25 payout, wave of the future. Surfers are less likely to charge back a $10 membership then a $40 one. Great idea, will solve the Charge back issues for good. I told Lensman that SAME day at Internext were doing your idea, its perfect for charge backs having low membership prices, and I think that its the wave of the future in the adult industry. He agreed we laughed and moved on. The MINUTE I got back from Internext I was emailing our design company that I need 30 tours done in 2 weeks. My instuctions were: Reality Style on 1 page tours, with join page on front page (There is no join page on first page $10 Wives.com Free Pass Bucks - http://www.freepassbucks.com our email program is the exact same style tours. http://www.freeteenpass.com http://www.freevideopass.com http://www.freeamateurpass.com Were copying OURSELF!!! Reality converts. I instructed our designers to make the tours look reality with the price $9.82 SPLASHED all over the place. Exactly what they did. Not many ways to do a one page tour, with a reality style. -------------------------------------------- AMP I notice your screen shots of our sites CUT OFF the join option on the front page of our tours... But why cut off that part? Surely you wouldnt think we didnt copy you? Where did we get that idea for JOIN OPTION on front page. funny... everyone told me that no one would pay only 8.95 for a membership... they said that it was too low and in the surfers mind they will think... hmmm... only 8.95, must not be anything special and I can probally get this stuff free somewhere.... so I raised the price to 19.95.
So, a big player does 9.95 and everyone things they are a fucking genious... my god you people are fickle... So, should I lower my price again? damn!!!!!! |

John EP and I discussed like 3 years ago that porn sites would eventually fall to $4.95 a month and would feature more porn than any sites out there. Like a magazine subscription. I still predict companies like Hustler Playboy and companies that own vast ammounts of content will end up the winners as the margains of online porn contiue to drop to where it is razor thin. That is where economics will eventually take this industry. It just took a lot longer than I imagined. |
