Damn John and Willyb - this is the most distressing thread I think I've ever seen. Over the years I've worked closely with them both.

If there's anyone who could survive a motercycle wreck like that - it's John Morgan.

I live in ATL - I will try to get some information as it becomes available.

Yeah - what a shock. I met him when we both worked for OMPI, and I hung out with himn a quite a few shows. Super nice guy - I just can't imagine him doing that. It's a damn shame.

In realted news, some of you may have read some of the rumors about the John Morgan's (OMPI) motorcycle wreck on another board saying that he was paralyzed and so forth. I spoke to his wife / girlfriend today. He is in the hospital, in very bad shape, but it is premature to assume that it will be more that that.

However you pray, send out your best to both of these gentlemen.

They deserve it and need it.

You're right....it is premature to think he'll be paralysed...let's get the head injuries squared away...and, of course, that old enemy, pneumonia...

We are sending good vibes to John and Sunny and Dokk and all the friends....

However, last I heard while he is pretty messed up physically there is plenty of room for hope. John is a fighter (anyone that has met him in person would know that - he's a mountain of a man).

I remember meeting him in the ANS hospitality suite in Vegas and thinking to myself "Dear GAWD! He's a Giant!!!" At the same time he's one of the nicest people on the planet. Kre8t0r, Ompi and I were passing Kre's cell phone back and forth talking with Buzzard (god rest his soul). I don't know John that well, hell he probably doesn't even remember meeting me but I knew immediately that he was one of the good guys. And I know that if anyone can pull through this he's the man to do it.

Any update on when the auction is going to take place?

Hi Missy,
We have decided to postpone things a little bit because those of us that were the closest to WillyB and his family need a little time to grieve and get refocused, and the accident with Ompi has further caused some of us to freak out a little bit - it's been a difficult week.

The auction is going to happen next week and there are just a few minor details that need to be ironed out before we make a formal announcement. I haven't gotten all the details yet from Pattyecake, but I am working to get the website built so that all the donations will be available for viewing and there will be a place for anyone that wishes to pay their respects.

I'll post back here again when the site is up and running so that everyone can get all the details.

Thank you to all who have selflessly given and who have posted their well wishes and respects.
