:mad Know how to fix this ????

Damn virus/parasite has hijacked my browser.

Any adult domain that I type in hijacks me and sends
me to a bunch of different paysites.

I have tried everything, anyone know about this ?

Thanks,

Simple solution is to trash your PC and get a new Mac G5. You will never have a problem like that again and no virus problems?

Sounds kind of like spyware stuff. You might want to install a freeware ad detection program. You would be surprised with how much crap is installed on your computer. At least I was

Check your host file, search your hard drive though, a new virus adds a new one besides the one in your system32/drivers/etc file and changes your registry to look for it rather than the other one.

Cut off your arm because you have a hangnail!

and since you're getting a mac, why not cut off your legs too...

Nobody seems to ever mention the fatal errors macs get just as often as windows does. Or how it's a much bigger deal to deal with them when they do. Or how when something does go wrong on a Mac, you're fucked. Or the disgusting lack of quality games with which to pass the time.

Mac ownership is a fucking cult.

Not sure yet, when I type any adult domain i.e. my sites, it
starts to load then automatically sends me to a bunch of
random sites with someones fucking codes in place.

Its a parasite of some sort, not being detected by
Spy Sweeper.

But it makes it impossible to work...

What fatal errors?
I have worked on Macs for more than 12 years and never had anything more than a few crashes. Now with system 10+ i never worry, none of our Macs have crashed since we installed it. When a program crashes the computer doesn't so i can still keep working or just reopen the program.
Wake up Macs are by far the most stable, and now with the G5 the most productive computers around. You stick with your PCs and I.E. browsers and keep posting on GFY about all your problems while i keep on working !!

You might want to try a couple spyware removal programs .. I highly recommend AdAware.

Or rather than forking out 2 grand or more on a G5, for an inferior product, you can install Linux, learn it, love it, and it will take care of your virus problems simply because it won't have them... Windows is evil, it's open to any and all things, it allows all sorts of traffic, no wonder you mac lovers hate PCs, because you haven't tasted a real OS before... Hell, OSX is based off BSD

If you want to continue to use windows, I have a simple solution located on our server at work: http://www.i2g.net/hijack.exe - This basically looks at the registry strings and finds what has changed and allows you to check them and get rid of them, it does the job!

I've been on all three systems for more than a decade (though I'd have to say less than 12 years ) and while I can appreciate Macs for their bubbly cute hippie icons on strong OS, I am also not blinded by the kool-aid - Macs are far inferior to *nix, and behind Windows because you can't get shit for macs, software wise. I am less than 20ft from a G5 and must say though impressive, it's nothing compared to any of the other systems in my house, especially not for 2-3X the price.

It's probably spyware, I had a same type of problem. Either run adaware 6.0 and try to scan your PC or just go and edit your registry and search for one of the URLs that are popping up on you, once you find it, delete all occurrences in the registry.

BTW do this ONLY if you know how to manage your registry or you will screw up your windows more than it already is. Another solution is FORMAT C:

if anyone have similiar problem with search engines domains (google, altavista, alltheweb etc.)

you may try this

Symantec Security Response

i've got this shit at 28 sep somewhere from web
it's very clever cause standard hosts file looks normal,
qhosts just created other copy and windows was using the second one instead the correct one
