but havent promoted any gay sites since then is there any money in this now ?

Yes the gay adult market has more affluent buyers in it.
You need to make sure you offer the right products to your surfers though to ensure that they will purchase and, generally speaking, it helps if you learn about the market a little before you start throwing sites out  |
