i need some input on this
okay.. im almost done adding the affiliate section of my search engine. The deal is, you get tons of free, quality, targeted traffic for promoting my program. When affiliates sign up, they place a small search box anywhere on their site, for every search from their website, they get $x credit to their account to use towards bidding. Also, they get $y on each click in the search results, added to their account. My question is, how much should I credit the webmasters' account for 1)Searches and 2)Clicks?
thanks im open to any comments/flames |

It depends on how much a credit gets the webmaster. I mean if 1 click to their site costs 100,000 credits then well maybe 100,000 credits per search etc.

i was thinking, for example, give them $0.07 for each search and $0.02 for each click, and credit that money to their advertiser account, and they can use it to bid on top positions, 1 click can be as low as $0.01

no im just feeding from searchfeed right now while i add about 7 or 8 cgi scripts to the site so i can put my other advertisers from other search engines into this one, and so people can sign up exclusively to my site, and not through searchfeed. I have about 750 members, I don't need search feed |
