The introduction of a new BMW model is always an event ? an event eagerly awaited by the motoring media, by the BMW dealer and most of all by Dugmor.

Fat doggystyle action on couch

Very nice car.

It seems like an older person's car, but I would still drive it.

I donīt like how they build the inside nowadays at BMW.

I liked the old "cockpit" style...

Still a nice car

The newest 7 series has that knob you turn rather than a traditional shifter. I've heard rumors that they weren't even going to put a stearing wheel in the new 5 series because it is a saftey hazard. What was new and interesting about the dashboard, etc?

Oh, and nice looking chicks by the way.

You needed more pictures of the car instead of girls lol.

As for new features you have the heads up display that appears on your windsheild with Navigation information. You also got adaptive tail lights, adaptive turning xenon lights, comfort seats with new neck support during crashes, as well as the vechile is lighter than the old E39 model. And also it has the iDrive junk from the 7-Series, which btw doesnt shift gears but controls all of the knobs and junk for comfort/cd, blah blah. You also get the manual, automatic, or SMG, first SMG for a sedan in BMW history.

How the hell are you gonna steer without a wheel? I don't like beemers anymore, they look too alike and are a dime a dozen in Montreal, the only BMW I'd get is either the Z4 or the M5, or else I'd stick with MB E320 or something, or a jag

I got rid of my E39 just in time

The new 5 is going to be a great car, they took all the problems of the new 7 and made them work and easier to use in this car.
The 5's I-Drive is a much more user friendly version, plus SMG kicks ass

Sweet!

I had the oppurtunity last month to hit the C spot drive party for Mercedes. Kinda sucks the courses are short, but still kinda cool to take a brand new car out & beat it, on a cone course.

The 4.6 is super fun and comfy, but I've been back to the dealership every two or three weeks... front lock actuator, cup holder broke (hehe it would launch out cups,) the cd things just stopped working, and we later found that the springs had come out, heated seats came on unexpectedly, and the remote keys have had to be reset twice....

Even so, I love this fucking car .

No sweat yt, most mb's are labeled as womens' cars... been behind sl's, s500's, and sl 55 amg's(I love this fucking car too)... nothing girly about them. I've seen the pics of your c36, I doubt a girl would let it get that dirty .

This summer I had a chance to see and drive in the 2005 version of the M5. It was in prototype status, but still... mighty powerful.

finally, bmw realizes they need style to stay in the race...

why is there only like 1 person in those pics who looks like they could afford a BMW though? that's gotta be embarrasing being at a party like that knowing you can't afford a beemer...

the way I see it BMW is one of the only car-makers that is innovative! all the rest just copy off of each other and Mercedes has all similar looking cars except a few little things are different.

Bangle designs need to grow on you. But if you compare the 745 to the A8, I think most people would choose the A8 purely on looks. Certainly performance and handling is different, but the new A8 is a huge car just like the 7-series but it caries its weight very well, it still looks limber. The 7-series, although it is limber doesn't carry that weight well. Looking at it your first impression would be that it is sluggish. Hell at times it almost looks more like an SUV than a luxury sedan. The new 5-series is a bit more approachable but still has a few elements it could have done without. The new M4 though certainly looks promising. It still retains the character of the E46 coupe's with some new lines that remind you of the Z4, hopefully the two will mix well all the way to production, so far it certainly looks promising.

Respect! =)

Half of my friends here are working for BMW also. =)

I love BMW myself, but this new 5 series seems to be too popular model. people whom I know who tried it told me that 7th series is a way better and more exclusive, so I'm looking forward buying it directly from the BMW AG

wish you the best.

p.s. but new 5th seems good, for sure. 7th is a way better for me.

z4 is good also (and a way affordable) - check this out:

http://bmwfilms.com

for american market they have elarged chassis width, so seems like a road-killer.

yeah people are pretty divided, either they love it alot or hate it alot.

when Bangle redid the new 7, there was the biggest shit storm ever, people on roadfly were going insane.

after awhile though it starts to grow on you.

People shit a brick when the E39 came out in 97', tastes change quickly.
