both if america invaded Japan there would have been millions of deaths. edit: dont get me wrong here the intention was to save american lives, the japanese lives that were saved were just a side effect basically. this was also done to send a message to the russian about americas power |

idiot. Everyones history in everyones country is biased toward their counry, to say US history is untrue and your history lessons were is just plain fucking stupid, bottom line US #1 country in the world. The world hates us but somehow some reason they want to live here and be part of it. also Russians decalred war on Japan the day before the 2nd bomb was dropped on Nagasaki! :321GFY |

Was a physics major. Just read a lot. ;-) |
They dropped it on my ass!!!

weird thing is the 2nd bomb also missed the target by 3 miles, this i did not know.
the hills or mountains shielded people from the second bomb otherwise there would have bene alot more deaths. Total deaths were appox. 160,000 and the includes the following years of radiation posioning and all. |

What part of what I said leads you to believe that I think USA history is untrue? The events in Japan at the close of the war have been debated endlessly since the 40's, you can find many things written by USA writers that are both critical and full of praise for the USA decision to bomb. My personal opinion is that the USA did it with a complex agenda, one that involved their eyeing how the landscape would look post war as well as a concern for casualties, costs and uncertainties of the bomb's effectiveness. "Plain fucking stupid" is when you are not willing to accept that American Policy is complex and is never a straight line consideration of a single issue. If you for a moment think that the USA dropped the bombs without a myriad of choices and decisions in the War room, then I would argue that you are the one who is "plain fucking stupid". |

US $10.3 trillion Japan $4.2 trillion Germany $1.8 trillion China's own National Bureau of Statistics claims they will become the world's third largest economy by 2020. Now how can they do that if they are already the world's third largest economy? Because they are not. China is only $1.2 trillion right now in US dollars. China's currency is artificially inflated by their government. The EU, Japan, and the US are all putting pressure on them to devalue and straighten it all out. |
