If you can afford from it, Premier rules. Otherwise get Studio 8 from Pinnacle. Awsoome program and very easy to use.

We use premier. Mostly becasue it's seamless with photoshop and after effects. We create broadcast quality commercials and place them on DVD porn.

Being on a PC I personally use premiere, our video guy uses both on two pc's and a mac - he learnt to edit on final cut pro, so he would say it's easier.
