Los Angeles is the worst city for traffic

Check city rankings in the 2003 Urban Mobility Study, released by the Texas Transportation Institute, which evaluates traffic congestion in 75 major U.S. cities each year. Click on the map's numbers for more information on each urban area. Congestion is ranked from 1 to 75, with 1 being the most congested and 75 being the least congested area in the study.

I fucking hate L.A. I'm sure it is great if you live, work and play in the same area. When I'm there I want to visit all the adult companies and I spend 4 hours a day in traffic. It sucks.

No shit !!!!!! It is horrible. I understand rush hour . But when you get on a 5 lane freeway at 3:30 in the morning and still hit traffic something is really wrong .

Last time I was in L.A. I came up with a theory. They should put up toll booths and charge 5 dollars to access the highway. That'll thin traffic and they can take the money to build the world's most advanced public transportation system.

Also, less smog and lower Cali debt overall.

Ahhh... the pleasures of working from home in LA. I save about 10 hours / week of round trip commute time and about 10 years of my life that I would have lost due to aggravation.
