Sorry to hear that man. I know how that is, I've been down there before. My uncle ended his own life when I was 9. It's sad and hard to deal with, nobody knew something was wrong, he was happily married with three kids! Hit me up if you wanna chat, 177385133

Ganja,

My heart goes out tp you mate.

Hate to say I have similar experiences, and unfortunately on more than 1 occasion.

Sometimes the people who serve as the "rocks" and "inspiration" for many others can find it hard to live up to others expectations of them.

I dunno what the answer is.....

Personally I have tried to pass on to the others the energy, help, support and advice that my friends gave to me before they checked out.

Pay it forward is the only way I have known.

Whatever you do (and sometimes easier said than done) DON'T blame yourself, but give your support to the others affected by what HE decided to do.

Mightn't help much, but in the spirit of my departed friends, felt I had to say something.

Stay strong and do not lose faith in the inspiration he gave to you.

Hey Morgan, sorry to hear that man.

I know exactly what you're going through, as most here know that my mother killed herself this last March.

There are no easy words, this type of death does leave an impact on you, I came across a website awhile back and I'm only paraphrasing it here, but they had a quote that said something like a person who commits suicide only dies once, while the survivors die a million times.

Stay strong, there will be tough days ahead, don't do it alone.

You know where to find me if you ever need to talk.

Damn I am sorry to hear that. Itis a very tough thing to forget about but I suggest you try to not think of it as hard as itmay be but try to think of something else. It will just hurt you inside if yoiu keep thinking about it and there is no benefit about feeling upset and not being able to do anythign about it unfortunately. I hope you get well asap

Damn. Sorry to hear about that. I had a similar experience years back and I was on the other end of a phone trying to talk a buddy down.

You never know what is going on in another persons head. Hopefully as time goes by you will be able to remember the good times of the past with him and know that there was nothing you could do ultimately. He was a troubled person.

Good luck and stay strong bro.

ANYtime you go to visit him after this passing, remember to put a pebble on his gravestone. It's a sign of remembrance to him in whatever comes after being here. Just a gesture I know... but none of us REALLY know and it doesn't hurt. A sign of the return to Mother Earth.

if it was a semi-auto pistol and the slide is still back its suicide,
if there's another round in the chamber it's homicide.

Sorry to hear this man. The sad thing is that mostly when this happens people who get left behind fill their minds with questions...... WHY?
Don't try to explain it, don't try to find the reason, certainly not with yourself.
A friend of mine did the exact same thing a few years ago. He also seemed very happy. What was going on in his mind? Was there a part of his life we didn't know about? Was he looking for help and we didn't see it? All those questions kept going thruw our heads but we will never know so we stopped asking.
Don't look for the answers...... it would only put alot of weight on your back.

My thoughts are with you. Suicide is a terrible thing to deal with for those left behind that loved and cared for the person.

And to everyone...life gets dark at times. Sometimes so dark you're sure you'll never see light again. But try to remember that life can take you anywhere and the only thing for certain is that it will end. So no matter how bad it gets hang on tight. It will pass. Never fast forward to the end of your own story.

Ten years ago in the course of a single year I experienced a failed business, bankruptcy and a bitter divorce. I was so devastated and depressed I drove a cab for about a year hoping someone would blow my brains out and save me (and my son) the stigma. But it never happened. And I have experienced and learned so much since then I'm glad it didn't.
