Clinton took a while to pull us out of the hole we were in. Now we're in a deeper hole in a shorter time span. What foreign issues was his head in the sand on? Apparently the current Republican has zero foreign policy except for severing ties with all other countries out there.

I used to pride myself on being non-partisan and voting for who I think is best rather than what party they belong to. But come 2004 I will go against that.

But hey, Bush fans.. look on the bright side! If Dubya wins in 2004 it'll be his first presidential election won. :winkwink:

why is it when the economy is good, they thank the president and when the economy goes bad, they bash the president. it's a free market society for crying out loud. you act like whoever is office can just churn out policies and the economy goes up or not churn out the right policies and the economy sinks.

Hooper 09-30-2003 11:48 PM

btw.. the republicans like and depend on white males between the ages of 25-35.

If you fall in that category.. think hard about why you would vote for bush. Is it because he seems "good".. or cause he seems "devoted"?

Spend your time thinking about issues.. social issues like a woman's right to choose, environmental issues like drilling for oil in the alaskan wilderness, and that which is closest to home..freedom of speech.

No administration in history has every been so secretive. Detaining citizens without due process, changing our rights to privacy.. this is a frightening REGIME we live under. Dont confuse tax breaks that made me personally great deals of money but that i would happily sacrifice for some peace of mind with "good government".

Jeez i hate political threads. i'm done now.

C'mon. If you like Dean, that is fine, but trying to bash Clark is quite funny. You know why you are not trying to bash Braun? Because she is not a threat. Dean is getting bashed because he is a front runner, not because he is a pragmatist. Clark is getting bashed because he is a serious threat. Nature of the beast.

Plus, if you want to bash Clark, come up with the good stuff. How about the "starting WWIII" remarks in Kosovo? What about his supposed involvment in the Waco incident? How about General Sheldon's statements concerning Clark? What about his "firing" by the Clinton administration? There is so much crap that is going to keep Clark in the headlines for a long time that, whether you like it or not, his face is going to be all over your tv. The flip-flop with the war issue and his Republican fundraising speech in '01 was just the tip of the iceburg. Similar domain names is really low on the bashing scale.

Drunkmoney, I'm not going to start bickering about issues you already know about. I just think Dean has a better domestic, and foreign policy. But if Clark gets the nomination, I'm all for it. I just happen to believe Dean will get it.

True..but Ross Perot did the same thing to the Republicans in 1992. So..I guess Nadar's candidacy sorta "balanced" out the score card..so to speak.

myjah 10-22-2003 09:55 AM

don't vote...doesn't really matter anway.

johnbosh 10-22-2003 10:19 AM

hyatla 10-22-2003 10:27 AM

I have always thought Bush as a decent president, although a little on the damb side, but when he said "bring it on", I felt like to throw up. :(

rooster 10-22-2003 10:29 AM

nader got less than 3 million votes. Perot got almost 20 million.

SexxxyChat-T 10-22-2003 11:31 AM

I voted with the majority in 2000, and I'm gonna vote for the Dem again in 2004 (Hopefully Howard Dean)...

Bush has set this country back so far... this year he will set the record for the LARGEST FEDERAL DEFECIT IN HISTORY!!

374 billion dollars in the red this year!!

And guess what... we aren't done yet

White House budget director Joshua Bolten conceded that worse fiscal numbers were on the horizon, estimating that the gap for the new year "will likely exceed $500 billion even with the strengthening economy".

All of us and our children will be paying off this debt, it's time to get the Gov't spending back under control... no more Bush's in the White House... ever

Do you actually know anything he's done before his campaign?

I'm voting for Bush. Despite what some people believe, he has done this country a lot of good. The economy ALWAYS has it's ups and downs. He happened to come into at a time, that it was all going to hell. I'd rather being paying less taxes in a bad economy, than paying more taxes in a bad economy.

He needs 4-5 more years to finish what he started. Then Jeb can take over in 2008 :eek7 :1orglaugh Fuck all of you liberals living in a purple haze. A lot of you sound VERY selfish. The world is about more than just porn and how fast our economy can rebound. There's other important things to take care of, of course ignorance is bliss to those that want to do nothing about other problems.

People worried about a Republican in office, abolishing porn from the whole internet, are just plain paranoid and/or using it as an excuse to side with enemies. How many times does it have to be said, they are just enforcing laws that already exist and making people pay for porn instead of it being available to any person or kid that wants to see it? What part of that is hard to understand? Porn on the net will never be illegal. If you haven't realized that this industry is all about adapting to changes, you are in the wrong business.

I would be MUCH more worried about Visa and MasterCard slamming the doors on porn, not about our administration, unless of course you bank off of kids hitting your sites and rape fantasy type of things.

Visa/MasterCard made it harder for the adult industry online. Much worse than the Bush admin. I don't see any of you antis cutting up your credit cards, which would be the right thing to do if your view on what's right and what's wrong were directed at the appropriate troublemakers.

Leaders of our country should be responsible, aggressive and dedicated. These are traits I don't feel democrats have, because they like to avoid the "hard work" and sugar coat other issues, to paint a false impression of everything being fine, when in fact problems behind the smoke and mirrors are stirring and building up steam and when they blow, they BLOW. i.e. 9/11

I want a leader of this country to take action and take care of things that have long been avoided. I don't want someone to ignore issues and pretend everything is alright. I want someone boring and professional in power, save the partying presidents for high school elections because the US needed this shake down. Maybe it's not fun or financially beneficial, but sacrifice and hard work pay off in the end and what we do today, affects our future. When it comes to a leader, I want business before pleasure and sometimes business dictates, that you have to spend money to make money. The economy is just on a much larger scale.

is there someone else to vote for?

Matt M 10-22-2003 01:50 PM

Nope....:thumbsup

jas1552 10-22-2003 01:57 PM

I'll probably vote for Bush. Not that it matters. Republicans always win my state anyway. I'd like to see Bush win reelection if only to say fuck you to those snotty europeans.

rooster 10-22-2003 02:00 PM

i dont like dean. I think he is a know it all windbag with no class. Its like O'reilly says, if Dean gets the democratic nomination this will be the dirtiest presidential race in this countrys history. I think Bush will beat him, but all the rehtoric Dean will use will furthur divide this country and do harm.

BlackCrayon 10-22-2003 02:02 PM

a vote for bush is a vote against this industry, if you vote for bush, you should get out of porn and go to church. bush would be proud.

You know what would have happened if the dipshits in teh green party hadnt run???? Gore would have won by a landslide... but noooooo.. instead of being practical and deciding which of the two potential *real* candidates they wanted to actually take office they fuckin go and vote for somebody who cant win!

Dean is essentially the same, his policies are laughable, his morality is great, but he's a dipshit and i will put money on the fact that he wont be the democratic nominee.

Whatever you do though.. when the actual election comes to town.. vote for one of the two parties that actually has a chance.. cause voting for the communist green lefty party makes the republicans job easier!!!

all done.
