would be an awesome idea. i have seen it on other boards like ANS, and really admire the idea.

basically once per week, anyone who wishes to participate can design a fresh site (or as many as possible) and have it added to the boards link list. Naturally only board members can participate, or have their site listed on this LL.

I think the board (or project) owners buy traffic every now and then to send to the LL, as sort of an incentive to get more sites listed.

I used to love this, because it sort of brings the community together, and forces us to not only work, but work together. Share ideas, tips, etc.

So, im sure we dont want to copy this idea, but cant we come up with a similar weekly project that offers the same incentives and benefits?

I bet we can get a few people (including myself) to donate scripts, designs, traffic, etc. Anything needed to make it happen.

i guess they do it as sort of an incentive to get people working and building, and as a reward members get the sites listed on the exclusive LL.

i always loved the idea, but i am no longer welcome on the board for the last 1yr or so i think? and im too lazy to make a new name there.

However, i have always admired the family spirit over there. How everyone helps each other, and pushes each others ideas, and such.

ANS actually has a pretty good link list.... mrmarylou runs it I believe.

BTW, I contacted you a couple times about link trades - why haven't you said anything back? You even went as far as to spam PC BBS main board with it but now I'm not hearing anything.
