Hey loco12, where are you located? I LOVE visiting Southern England. I go there at least 3 times a year. My friend has an appartment in Bournemouth and I even bought a car there this year. Where do you live?

By no means do I intend to offend the fortunate MB owners but the true enthusiast would not consider the MB.

Let me be the first to say that the sl600 or the SL55 AMG are imho some of the finest engineered, designed, cars EVER produced.

The Porsche is desgned to be a perfectly balanced super car. The 911 would eat the MB by a large margin on just about everything but a dragstrip and even that would be a dog fight.

It just so happens the Porsche is a beautiful car by its own merit. With the aggressive approach MB is taking with regard to performance.....this opinion may not be as black and white in five years.

Today the Porsche is still the king in this choice

I live in just outside Sherborne in Dorset, about 35 mins drive from Bournemouth. I lived in Bournemouth until 2 years ago but have moved out to the country when I got married. NO good keep going to all those clubs with lovely girls.:Graucho

Perfect! Yes I really like those girls in the clubs as well. :) My girlfriend doens't like em that much, lol. We should have fish and chips sometimes when I'm there. I'd love to talk about the adult biz in the UK once.
