You're right, she made a dumb choice. But she didn't deserve to get raped for it, obviously. How can there be this many men in one place that would do something like this and so few who wouldn't try to stop it? It's just scary.

Yeah, NOLA does get a bit frantic at times during mardi gras but not to that extreme. The only other city that I'm aware of that can do Carnival right is Austin. Everywhere else it ends up riot and mayhem. Seattle was completely out of control that year:
