digital camera..
looking to get another one just for going out and about... nothing special.. 3 megapixle or not.. looking for something cheap not crazy but yet nice.. any suggestions?

i bought a canon s400 .. 4 megapixels.. it shoots beautiful. paid $409 at circuit city with rebates

Get the cannon s400.
its the best camera for non-pros. its like the best camera i ever bought. a little pricey for what you want i think but i got mine for $450 from amazon.com. its got 11x digital zoom and 3x optical zoom and it takes up to 3 minutes of video and yet it is still really small and easy to stick in a pocket.

Digital cameras certainly have evolved quickly. I paid like $400 for one a year ago just to see recently that a buddy of mine got one for $250 that completely smokes mine.
