Madonna's tale is fastest-selling children's picture book
Madonna's literary debut The English Roses has become the fastest-selling children's picture book of all time.

It sold more than 10,000 copies in the UK in its first week alone, according to figures from the publishers, Puffin.
And in the children's best-seller list it is second only to the fifth Harry Potter - selling just 220 copies less than JK Rowling's book in its first seven days.
The English Roses was released simultaneously in 100 countries on September 15 and translated into 30 languages. The illustrated book is the first of five tales Madonna has written for children.
A spokesman for Waterstone's said: "The English Roses is performing beyond all expectations. It is selling incredibly well."
The singer, 45, launched The English Roses with a children's tea party in London.
All five books are loosely based on the teachings of Kabbalah, the religion which the singer and her husband Guy Ritchie follow.
The English Roses is about four girls who are jealous of their pretty and talented schoolmate Binah. But when a fairy godmother gives them a secret peek into Binah's home, they discover her mother has died and she has a miserable life living alone with her father.
The story has echoes of Madonna's own life - her mother died of cancer when she was five years old.

Madonna's second book, Mr Peabody's Apples, is out in November.
