I did a search twice on yahoo and this is the massage i receive

I got the same with with google.com and yahoo.com. The ISP tech said I have to remove it from my local dns file.
If your using Windows XP (double check this before doing it): open this file in notepad.exe C:\windows\system32\DRIVERS\etc\host I had all the search engines listed in there, my tech said to remove them all and save it. Make sure you use notepad though. Im not sure why it happened, the techs says some type of spyware might have done it. But not sure.

YOu didn't delete the file did you? You are just ment to remove the content within that file, not the file itself.
