Damn, I haven't seen PlatinumBuck's new $10 sites until now, and it's obvously no accident that they look very similar to Amp's designs he did for Adult.com. I knew they were looking to do a program like our new one, which I said was fine. After all, they had a look at it almost 2 months ago. But copying the sites too?

Base point being - it doesn't matter one bit who came up with an idea. What matters is who makes the most of the idea - usually the folks that come later do better, because they can launch an improved product.

I also agree with the "why show it off before launch" theory - you don't show your hand until you're ready to rake over the chips.

I see nothing wrong with showing it off.. But copying the design is another story.

Otherwise what would the show be if nothing new was there to see?

I believe more programs prepare $10 sites. Rebilling at $40 is not an easy option anymore. Lower prices will keep the overall cb % of a sponsor within the acceptable visa limits. That's the main purpose of it in my eyes. I might be wrong.

I don't think PB intentionally did anything to copy your designs. The new sites follow the same graphic style of their previous ones. Take a look at Milf Riders and College Fuck Tour for example. I do see some similarities mostly in the bottom part of the tours. My guess if it didn't happen 100% by accident, their designer had a look at one of your tours and got influenced without realizing it.

It doesn't need much thought that any copy attempt would got flamed at the same moment and PB people are smart not to do such thing.

That's my opinion, don't flame me now :-)

Soul_Rebel is right, this is the new trend now given by adult.com with lower membership cost for surfers and lower payouts for webmasters, more and more companies will adopt this. This is indeed a revolution or evolution, no matter how you call it, and a new step forward for porn sales.

Too late to get my signature in but, those designs do not look that similar and if creators start bitching about imitation they would never have time to do any work.

Imitation is another form of flatterey, Amp live with it and feel proud that you are good enough to be copied. The sites are not a straight rip off they are an interpretation.

Not paying you money for a job you did is another matter. That deserves flaming, if they will welch on one deal they could do it on another.

Those designs DO look similar, very similar. I you cant see that then you need a new pair of glasses.

That theyre both for a $10 program makes it even dodgier.

Its pretty lame to say, the colors are different, the layout is a bit different blah blah, look at is as a whole and its so fucking clear those designs were ripped.
