Started off pretty decent and interesting but almost completely falls apart by the end. Very little redeeming value when watched to the conclusion, either one of the two that they made.

I thought it was a great idea, anybody ever read teh bok "the earth abides" bassically the same story but witout the zombies.
yeah the movie did fall apart in teh end, but it was pretty thought provoking. My recomendation is go see it if you like horror & inde films.Comment

I loved it! Agreed, weak ending. But the empty cities, zombies...great creepy action. I'm a sucker for any kind of apocalyptic flim though.

Duuuuude! GREAT FLICK! have to agree, its one of the more 'real' of flicks that have come out lately. Still haven't seen the 'alternate' ending
.....this movie was definitely an eye opener....makes you think 'when will this happen' instead of 'oh that will NEVER happen' ....Hard to think the director did 'The Beach' too!
House of 1000 Corpses!!! OMG another great one! I can't wait to check out the directors cut DVD. ....yess totally different style.

Hehe, this is quite a good movie. Unfortunately it goes on a bit too long, and the plot is totally unbelievable by the end.

I have watched pretty much every horror movie made, and i woke up in the middle of the night in cold sweats after seeing it at the cinemas !!
If you dont see it at the cinemas and hire it out !! Turn the music up fucking load !!! The noise is what got me goin !!

My girl spent most of the film with her head under a cushion, mind you she does that with most things lol

I agree, the first part rocks.. Then they get into some stuff that just is more boring and stupid than anything, and of course the ending seems rather "oops, we need to wrap the movie up now. Lets do it!"
But.. overall an awesome movie. The beginning up until a certain point pretty far in is damned damned good.
Need more movies like this.

Also entirely too predictable.
Walking all over the place with a car every fifty feet.
Rules for people in this situation.
Get a car, go to WallMart, get guns, food, survival equiptment, go to Hummer Dealer, get a car that drives through buildings, go to military base to get bigger guns, get a fucking boat off the island.
