Is Open Office any good?
I have a 450Mhz PIII PC running Office 97. The box is still running hot and strong, but the Office is getting a bit long in the tooth. An upgrade to Office 2003 would cost almost the value of the hardware, so I don't think I'll be taking that route.
Does anyone have any experience with Open Office: http://www.openoffice.org/ ? |

Works well for me...
a word of warning though that it might be a bit slow on your hardware.... works very nicely on my desktop p4 though my laptop doesn't overly like it. just download it and give it a try
