One of the questions they will ask you directly is "Do you have a criminal record".
What happens if you lie to a border patrol and he finds out? Personally I'd go thru the legal route.. They put your id thru a machine anyways.. not sure if it's checking your criminal record or what...

i've never heard of this, as far as i know, they can deny you entrance but most don't care. i know every time i've crossed the border they never asked if i had a criminal record, tho flying might be different.you don't know you're wearing a leash if you sit by the peg all day..Comment

A Canadian pardon is not recognized in the u.s. Since 9/11 they can turn you back for anything. If they tell you no once thats it. You have to apply for a waiver from the Americans. This is best route to take if they decide they feel like granting you one.opinions are like assholes.................
