It's up there I'm still undecided on the first or second one, soon it'll be over all three when the next one comes out I'm sure.

My favourite movie of all time is Fellowship of the ring, floowed closely behind by Two Towers. Already looking forward to the Return of the King, second movie of all time to make 1 billion at the Box Office!

I absolutely loved the books, so I have to say it "The movies are good, but nothing compared to the novels", there I've said it ;)

Now I must say that while the movies do totally kick ass, I think that they lost alot of momentum with the second. They work everything up into a huge frenzy of fear, tension and drama with The Fellowship of the Ring, and then they start off The Two Towers assuming that the momentum still exists, which, after a year of waiting for it's release, just doesn't work.

Still totally brilliant though, I can't wait for Return of the King

My husband used to read me the books when I didn't feel well...perfect bedtime stories....

The movies were excellent...we just got the dvd for the second one. Can't wait to see the third one.

I think "Fellowship" was the better movie, "Two Towers" was good tho.

If ONLY Jackson would make "the Hobbit", which IMHO was by far the best story of them all.

Gollum was the main reason I loved TT

I agree as well. One thing though, do not read (or re-read) the books and then watch the movies right after, I did and found myself getting angry at the things that Peter Jackson had changed/left out/added - I got over it quickly though
