Win2k, no sound(card)
I have this old pc, talked about it 30 days ago when I installed wxp, that's ran out now (30 day register crap on my bought copy:/).
I did a fresh install (with format C) of W2k, but I have no sound at this point. I think this old crappy pc has an on board sound card, no idea as it is my g/f's. Any idea how to get it to work? Scanning for new hardware did not help. It is an intel celeron 466 |

open it up find out what mb you have in there and then go to the mfg website and download drivers.

Problem solved: Went to the windows update site and got some w2k c-media upgrade package, works fine now.
Thanks for the suggestion though. |
