House Sold Prices

anyone know one of the websites that lists how much houses were sold for in the past? i want to buy a house that is about to be reposessed and i want to know how much it was sold for last time so i can tell how much i want to offer for it or if its even worth offering on.

You can call the title company I believe and get that information for free. The price of a home is public record.

yeah i wanted to get it right then though, and paying $3 was worth it. could save me thousands now that i know exactly what to offer on the house. not a bad idea for some kind of paysite for someone to open.

In your state, do a search for the treasurer's office in your county.....that should give you all the info you need.

Future reference if your county is online the last sale is usually part of the tax records. In my neck of the woods it takes 2 minutes to get it for free.
