Before Sept. 11th, no American would have believed it would be possible to hijack 4 planes and coordinate such an attack. As far fetched as a suitcase bomb or some form of Bio terrorist attack WILL happen at some point.

i saw this video of an a10 in afghanistan dropping like 50k worth of bombs chasing after one person. it doesn't seem incredibly effective.

these people don't give a fuck about dying - we need to find out what they do give a fuck about and target that.

I agree that being proactive is a better policy than being reactive.

Actually these threats came from al Qaeda and warned of events that would make 911 seem small. Osama had also issued a similar warning 3 weeks before 911.
