NEW Iron Maiden CD Came Out Today

and I didn't even know it until just now. I guess that I'll have to wait until tomarrow to buy it, it's called "Dance Of Death". I'm checking out some clips on Kazaa rite now and it sounds pretty cool so far, they still have their "old-school" sound.

Are there any other Maiden fans around tonight

Anyone see that interview Bruce Dickerson did a year or so ago talking about his new career? Very Interesting.

(for those who don't know he is a Commercial Airlines Pilot flying 727's I think it was)

I've been a Maiden fan since 1982. The new album isn't very good. Nothing will compare to their epic 1980-1988 era.

While Dance of Death is better than the 90s crap, it's still suffers from many problems. Chief among them is hackmaster Janick Gers. He has been defecating all over Maiden's albums with his hack guitar for far too long. If you've ever seen him live, he looks like Richard Simmons with a gerbil stuck up his ass. Other problems include muddy production, and epic songs that repeat 2 minutes of material 4 times.

Adrian Smith Rules!

7th son of a 7th son was the last good one... I like Bruce, but his solo thing was not that great..

But yes... they kicked some major ass back in the day....

Yep, Maiden is a good band...
I have their "Dance of Death" since almost a 3 weeks... Not bad album, but as someone said - nothing can compares with their golden era!

Hell Yeah! Been listening to maiden for like 9 years. Haven't picked up the new album yet, but its on the todo-list ;) . I heard the single and it sure sounds alot more old-school than the "brave new world" album.
