Terminated Merchant Account????
Does anyone know why a domain or someone would be on a Terminated Merchant account, when they have NEVER had a merchant account? Apparently visa declined a request, becuase the domain or something is on a TMA, but I nor the domain have EVER had a merchant account in its names......

Remember all that talk about Visa fees?
This is what its for. If you go with a third party processor, and are removed for different reasons (including going over the chargeback percentage or illegal content) that domain and the company that owns it is placed on the Terminated Merchants file. so, instead of companies going from 3rd party account to a merchant account and back, they are banned from processing visa. Create a new company. |

It might the businesses or mailing address you are operating from. Sometimes the address could be on the TMF

Do you think if I use a different domain name to signup with they will approve it? Under my name or company name there has never been a merchant account or a 3rd party processor. Therefore, the reason I got declined must be because of the domain name then right?
I know the domain has had a 3rd party account previously.. but It was not canceled or terminated... Also, Does anything in regards to bad credit have anything to do with it?

If they told you specifically that you were on the TMF, you can request a look at it. Find out the info, and if it was really you that was TMFed, you will have to change EVERYTHING. You will need new domains, a new company with a new principles, new sites, you may even want to change the visa region that you are incorporated in.

You may want to consider going the route that I suggested. Do you have a wife, or a distant reletive that you really trust that you can put the company name in? If you are having trouble with getting a merchant account, get in touch with me:
