50 frags for GFY...

This has been done for some time on YKZ, http://www.ynotkillzone.com and has complete stats for games being played at the time.

We are in the process of setting up bf1942 for those BF freaks out there as well. currently we are running Wolf Enemy Terriroty which kicks major ass and its a FREE GAme :)

I had set it up on a P4 1.8 it was eating 50% steady heh with NO players on it :glugglug

PB is no more in service, but now you got HLGuard, Cheating-Death (which is kinda like PB), Valve Anti-Cheat Engine, and some native anti-cheat features... thing is well protected against all kind of cheats only when there's a new one out you gotta correct it of course, some other games have cheats that people don't even know about :)

yea i have been waiting for a semi stable build. We have a few fast boxes set up and will prob dedicate one to that, But currently we have http://firingsquad.gamers.com/games/...ritory_review/ running its a great game and a free download..

The poker thing is a great idea, but only w/ real $$$. Like a full on-line casino poker setup ran by someone here so you know they won't fuck anyone over by not paying out. Be a blast to relax to playing a few dozen hands of texas holdem' against other folks.. Good networking oppurtunity time as well.

Of course, 95% of GFY is probably broke as hell, so that might not work.... but a $1/$2 table would rock, and maybe learn me enough to actually be somewhat decent in vegas in Jan. :)

In HL/CS you can spray poster sized, full color ads on walls n shit. Kinda like sigs only in the game and BIGGER! You can spam and frag at the same time!

Put RSP down for 2, however I think we ping about 260 to the east coast from our Aussie office :(

I would guess I would ping about 25ms Max on any server lens would get!

BTW.... A few of us should just chip in and start one anyhow, its fairly cheap and being an admin is sooooo much fun. Changing the gravity, bitchslapping players, banning people, ahhh....

Im in for CS, BF1942 and probably any other game you would throw up there... I spend wayyyyy to much time in games ;)

And the poker tourney is a good idea too... I emailed a few of the poker sites and most of them were willing to throw a private tourney for people with enough warning some even offered to throw in prizes if enough people signed up. Let me know if you want some more information on the ones who would be good for it.

Hey. I'll throw in the server.. and the bandwidth.. couple conditions though.

1: Has to be a linux 8.0/9.0+ or freebsd server (most likely Linux).

2: Someone experienced would need to be appointed by some group to maintain the server, games, setup matches, basically.. a guru who knows how to setup more than just one type of game on the server.

3: It has to have 1 full time quake 3 server (I have our code tree for Quake, and will install it)

4: I can pull the box anytime if it being used for anything but gaming. No websites. No FTP file sharing. Just gaming.

We will throw 20 IPs so you can map games to ips. We'll do the dns for it.

Oh god here comes somebody whining about the "rail only" shit...I used to own muthafuckas in Q2 back when I was on 56k using the rail gun...You would NOT want to taste my rail gun now I'm on cable...

Plus it's fun to have all the weapons available in Q2...That's one hell of a game
