Let's say for instance, you have a bbs. Since high traffic bbs's are offlimits to advertise on, how would you get people to your site?

Too bad they are all so sensitive. If you watch TV at all, you see ads for every network on every other network.

I know guys like lens started out with different progs and made thier names in different ways, but how would YOU make a name for yourself without spamming the people you look up to? i.e. GFY, etc.

Any ideas? SE's for this type of thing doesn't do much. The market is already too saturated.

not true

webmaster chat, webmaster bbs, bbs for webmaster, adult webmaster chat, chats for webmasters, etc.

so many keywords, jump on it.
