you do realize that they make the z28 in several colors, including the red yours is in, right?
i'd much rather own a clean, nice-looking SS than an RS of any flavor. there are even much nicer looking factory wheels for the camaro than on your car. and to my knowledge, they don't exactly make a "base model" SS, they come with quite a bit of options already.
i know the kind of girls that nice cars pick up... been there done that, and quite frankly, you can have them.
i've got an iroc, and when it was out i always kept it nice and shiny. i didn't put a bunch of fancy crap on it, it looked fine stock. but i didn't bother buying a 4cylinder or an rs. and, it was one of the nicer ones of its type around here. i bought the nicest one i could find, instead of buying a late-model base model just because it's a newer car (besides, i don't like the early 4th gen bodies... the 4.5 gen cars are awesome, but that front end on the early ones make me wretch
).
i'd just rather spend a few extra bucks on something i'd truly enjoy, and something i wouldn't have to hang around my hot rod friends feeling like i had a vagina. i hate posers.Comment

i don't see a need to post my vehicles. and i certainly don't need to brag about all my bills.
i've never entered any of my vehicles in actual judged carshows... just brought them to cruise-ins, because i know although i've owned a few nice cars, i was never really happy with where they were at (or they didn't exactly fit in... you can't take a foreign car to a hot rod show very easily). although my dad and i rebuilt a porsche a few years back, and won some good awards with it (including a couple best in class). it was a lot of work, and it definitely paid off. we sold the car, made a nice profit. hopefully if i ever run across that car again i could buy the actual car back. i know my dad would like that.<a href="http://www.iroc409.com/"><img src="http://www.iroc409.com/adv/120x60.gif" border=0></a>

did you know you can spray a radar-absorbant material in your paint that makes your car exponentially harder to be detected by radar?
it's kindof expensive, and i've always worried about the quality of the paint job when finished, so i never tried it.
