Being though aint about hitting each other and getting hurt, its about how much effort you spend in the practise.. As soccer is a much more global and more competetive sport, I bet the best international players train much much harder than any NFL players.

It's a matter of what you've been brought up with. If anything.

For me, American football is nothing short of tedious - the last time I tried to watch a game, it kept fucking stopping every X seconds. I don't like it, but it definitely isn't a "pussy" sport. Rugby is just as bad to watch - although in school, I always enjoyed playing it. I won't even bother with cricket, baseball or basketball. 7 foot negros and a bouncy ball, whoopee.

In terms of "toughness", it goes without saying that rugby/American football/whatever is the tougher sport.

Sweaty fucking apes smashing into each other vs. skinny twinks chasing a ball in their underwear. Gee, that's a tough one...
