I'm just curious, how many webmasters out there promote sites like http://crazyxxx3dworld.com (I have no affiliation with this site). Is this a popular niche and what type of promotion do people do for these types of sites?

Of course I promote toons. Mine and those of affiliates I trust. Toons/Hentai/Anime are big business and often overlooked. It's a matter though of CAREFULLY looking behind the scenes as too many guys rip stuff and post stuff they THINK is legit.

I only promote toons that have an actual artist behind the helm. None of that ' I represent numerous artists ' shit because if the artists were worth a fuck they'd be doing it themselves.

Some 'art houses' rep artists from countries that are like ex soviet block shits or 3rd world crap. It's only a matter of time til one gets pinched and I've seen too much of that.

Hentai/Anime you MUST be very cautious with. Take time to research the company and NEVER promote or buy 'canned' stuff as you're just looking for trouble.

Like I said, only promote toons that have the artist themselves involved, reason being is now you don't have to leap through hoops to get things corrected. You're dealing with the source not some invisible desk/suit from somewhere which makes the dude responsible for what he's doing and none of that 'corporate' bs.
