Same here. Hell the whole board was down for me for about an hour just now.
And the search - bejeezus. That thing hasn't worked right for me for months. 90% of the time it just craps out with a "page not found" error when I click search. And over the past week replying has become a real bear; either I get the 'page not found' after I hit the submit reply button or it forwards to the next page and just sits there. Literally. I left it once to see how long it would take it to return to the board, and the next morning when I got up it still hadn't managed to do it. I'm thinking we're hitting the maximum number of posts the software database can take or something; maybe for the 2M post we should celebrate by dumping the database and just keeping the users. Bet it would make this board freaking fly. |
