internet connection speed ?
I'm on a cable connection. When I have the connection going from the wall to the modem I'm running at around 1000 kb/s yet when I have 2 computers on (through a hub) I'm only running at 200 kb/s - Is this normal to be this low?
I'll probably just get a router but is this drop normal? I can't do shit when both are on.

What speed does your hub go up to?
I have a 2.8 mbps cable connection and mine is fine with 8 pc's online.

not sure, I have a Linksys fast Ethernet 10/100 5 port hub. (the older model) No switches.

WTF all of a sudden today I ran a dsl speed test and normally download 1mb in 4.5 seconds. Today its 22 seconds WTF is goin on I cant even work like this

if you have 80k download on one of your pc sure it is pretty normal to get 200kbps connection on other one
