Last night she was rushed to hospital with a suspected heart attack

To be honest I'm really fucking scared I don't want to lose her she is my Backbone
They didn't let me in the Ambulance last night because I was so Drunk,
I am crying as I write this I hope she is going to be ok I'm waiting for a cab now then I'm off!
I swear to never drink again!

I'll keep you guys updated

but this thread does not sit well with me i guess....If my dad were to ever disrepsect my mama in such a way that he would be sitting at home posting on GFY while she lay in a hospital possibly dying.. well need i say more..

My parents are married 45 years this month.
My dad would fall apart if something would happend to my mom.

So I know how you feel. Do you have kids? Now would be a good time to rekindle with them.

My parents made their last will and had a talk with us kids in July this year. They are selling all their businesses and properties to us and setting everything in motion just in case.

If something should happend to my Mom, my dad is coming to live with me.

If something happend to my Dad, my Mom is going to live with my Sister.

I hope your wife will be fine, assuming they are about the age of my parents the healing process is going to be very long, so prep yourself

he said he was waiting for a cab, not that he was going to bed and sometimes when you are so upset and you are left alone in the house you just need to shout something out to anyone that will hear it.

I hope she's ok. Have hope my dad had 6 heart attacks a triple by pass and was clinicly dead for 5 mins and this was all in the last 20 yrs and he's still kicking and has time to be with his grand kid. But not without his meds.

Thank you very much to everyone who sent me the kind Messages and emails,
Most of you will probably already know but She died in the very early hours of Wednesday morning.

But there is just one other thing I have a problem with! What the hell has been going on here?
How dare anyone question my loyalty to wife, That quick thread I wrote was to let friends of mine know what was going on!
While you was sitting comfortably at your computer passing judgment on my marriage and my behavior I was going through the worst time of my life!
Just because I didn't explain the full story you think you can say these Hurtful things?

Did I fail to mention the fact that my son drove me behind the Ambulance and I only came back to for some cloths the nurse asked me to collect (I wrote that thread in that time while waiting for a cab) not that I need to explain my actions to you
Did I fail to mention the fact that actions I performed that night almost helped save her Life? (even in the state I was in)
Did I fail to mention the fact that that My wife and I have never spent more than 3 hours apart in 42 years?

The thing I done wrong was drink 8 cans of Heineken and I will regret that till the day I die!

This is a huge step in your life. Nobody in your family on this board or in this world can help you now. We can only help you by standing by you in your time of pain.

Being married that long and than loosing the partner of your life can be devastating. Here is a way to over come some of it and keep you sane.

Collect all the pictures of you and your wife from the time you all met, scan them and make a collage on a CD.

Pick out the 2 most favourite things your wife loved the most and give the rest to your children or charity.

You cannot stay depressed, it is proofen that if you get depressed after being married that long you may die within 3 - 5 years yourself.

Since you are not used doing fun stuff by yourself and probably don't feel like doing stuff by yourself, try to attend meetings, parties or other things where you sorta know people (IA in Vegas - GO GO)
