Durr, the benefits are for the family you support. That'd be your wife if you were married. If you had a job with benefits she'd be under your insurance, etc. If you had a husband you'd have to pay a couple extra hundred bucks a month for him to be covered.

Funny of course how all the queens in the street always fail to mention the simple logical arguments for the government to recognize same sex couples as a family.
