Actually what amp is saying or looks like to me is why does every group get bennifits, publicity, or tv shows to cram down our throats. So the post (not by me) that said you are whining on this thread, but calling others whiners was ignorant? I believe it was right on the mark.

This thread almost perfectly follows the pattern of a standard GFY debate.

Step 1: A respected board member posts something, usually at least partially tongue in cheek that could be seen as either "immoral" or "politically correct"

Step 2: Other members chime in both for and against the origional posters argument. These posters usually realize it's not that big of a deal and don't take it too seriously.

Step 3: Either hardcore liberals or hardcore republicans come in and condemn either side.

Step 4: The other side attacks the poster in step 4.

Step 5: The battle continues between keyboard ninjas, each keyboard ninja picking an origional poster as their fearless leader.

Step 6: The leaders let the little people fight it out and sell some porn.

So all in all, the keyboard ninjas stay poor and pissed off while the rest of us get richer and happier. This my friends is truly the American way.

Discrimination in jobs: Ever heard of quotas? ok lets forget that, how about paid paternity leave? or when they get back from such leave guarenteed placement. Comparing wages as equal when you have single male doing 40 a week, 52 weeks a year, to a parent or woman who happens to take days off for kids?

Discrimination in society: Property tax for schools when you have no kids. Paying more income tax so others with kids get deductions. Nearly impossible to adopt a kid unless you happen to be a celebrity. Could go on.

Hate crimes: Well isnt any violent crime a hate crime? Trust me if I kill someone I hate them when I do. Hate crime laws are just fucking redundant and not needed, a crime is a crime, reason for the crime does not matter. Shouldnt matter if you kill a gay person for being gay or kill a guy for stealing your car. Fact is you killed him, its the same damn crime. But oh yeah black, jewish, (insert ethnicity) never have what you call hate crimes done to them.
