fix a repeating background img? - GoFuckYourself.com

i have an img as my bg on a page but when i add alot of content, the bg image keeps on repeating itself and it looks like shit.

someone told me to add behavior="fixed" into body tag, but it didnt help.

suggestions?

Put it in a table and make the table fixed.

Yep it is, when i called his house last week his father answered the phone and was PISSED that his son was making prank phone calls during the day when he was at work.

CSS is your friend ...

body { background: url(blah.gif) no-repeat; }

you can put alignstuff right after the "no-repeat" too, like "left top" or whatever.

still cant figure it out.

ive put the style in and that didnt work. i also tried putting the entire page into a fixed size table, and that didnt work.

it is still repeating my bg image.

No repeat at all:

body { background: url('image.gif'); background-repeat: no-repeat; }

Only repeat horiz:

body { background: url('image.gif'); background-repeat: repeat-x; }

Only repeat vert:
