I was thinking about doing a late night show a while back. I still think someone should test the waters. I think PLR does a night show, D-Man used to call me pretty late, on air.

I personally felt that a much smaller audience would attend, but they'd be prepared to have fun rather then talk work.

If someone does do a night show, I think it should be daily for 30 minutes.

How late night?

I would advertise it as being only 30 minutes daily so people don't feel like they have to spend the whole hour, seems like an easy pop in and out thing for 30 minutes. If it runs an hour, so be it, have fun.

I know, someone will say I should be asking for the help since I've had a few issues with the tech side with bigger crowds. But if you add all of my shows up since the beginning, every show but 2 were done perfectly, been doing it for years now. 99.99% of the time we've done it right.

Marketing it becomes the trick. If people don't show up, you'll start to feel silly talking to 3 people. Hit your newsletters about 3 hours before show time, that's been the key for us. Have others hit their newletters for you as well.

Oh yeah, one more piece of advice, I can get a language translation program for live chat. So if you do a late night show, the rest of the world would like to attend and participate. This program enables them to read the chat in their language and chat in their language. I've been wanting to use it for my show, but it's not 100% perfect, some bugs still. Might be worth looking into though.

It just costs more money to do another show, anyone want to pay the costs and receive private labeled branding? Make it your radio network carrying the show. If someone really wants to take care of those costs, I'll put my time into it.

the nice thing abotu a late night show is a lot of people will have extra bandwidth kicking around since it's non-peek hours!

Most "radio engineers" will want around $500 to $1000 a month to run it for you.

That's around $250 per show or less. A bro deal is about $150 per show.

Over the years I have done radio shows at just about every time slot. But I must say late nights were always the best. You always had the rukas element, which can provide for a fun show.

Unsure if tis qualifies...but I can say this...

Our time slot for RainMaker will be 7pm Eastern.
