aflex, you simply go to other websites which offer a backordering service (snapnames.com for example), type in the name, and see if someone else is already trying to back order the domain. Godaddy is not the only service which offers backordering services. If the domain is backordered with different services, then its really a coin flip on which service will really get the domain the instant it becomes available.

3 days ago i backordered my first domain name...1 day ago someone mailed me offering 250 for that domain...i wish it was always this easy.
