Yes, and the main advice I can give anyone is do something different. It doesn't have to be some huge new site that nobody has seen before. Approach what you do now in a different way and see what goes.

I started by myself. I built my business by myself. I never once saw an adult board until this past Dec so I didn't ask advice from anyone. If something doesn't work FIX IT. I approached this business just like any offline biz and I've been fine.

This is the best advice that I have seen on GFY since I started visiting this board. You need something unique from what everybody else does and then get that website or what ever listed everywhere you can. If you just put up some site with pics and movies like everybody else, and there is nothing different about your site compared to the thousands of other sites out there, you'll have a hard time making that money.

I work less than 2 hours a day (mainly goofing off) and make over $10,000/month. I've learned as much as I can and from my mistakes along with trying to offer something different than everybody else. I'm under the philosophy of don't work hard, work smart. Like TheFly says, automate as much as possiable so you can spend more time on other things to make more money (or at least enjoy what your making).

No but really does anyone here make over $10k that doesn't own a paysite? I don't make $10k yet a month yet but I'm working my way there but I feel like the only way to get to that mark is by actually going to the next level. The next level is where you can make money or waste a lot of money so I'm heading that way with both eyes open. I also agree with the coment that you should run your sites so they'll run themselves with little actual work.

It is quite possible to make over 10k per month net without owning a paysite because marketing and infrastructure are the two really scarce resources (I assume you have the ability to find and judge the content that will sell).

Personally, I'm not that impressed by fast growth - but the promise of steady growth is very interesting simply by the principle of compounding....
