Got some type of virus type files from a site today - malware1417.exe - malware1418
I got 5 files from a site today and trying to figure out where.
I was able to delete 4 of them. On my desktop malware1417.exe - malware1418.exe all of a sudden appeared. I was able to delete those and 2 others in the windows system fiolder, but I can't delete one other called - YKTHTV - , says it is in use. I guess this one of the things be goin around the last few weeks. Anyone else have something like this |

I can't say that because I have had very little problems using a pc in the last 6 years.
viruses have come along this year, had some small problems with them. There has always been more programs available and available first for a pc, which is the biggest things. When something is new you want to try it, alot of programs never get written for a mac. I come from a graphics background and used a mac for 4 years before I used a pc, they're nice, but if it wasn't for the pc, macs would cost a fortune and the power and speed would be years behind where it is now, as they would have milked the market for as long as they could have. The only reason viruses are not a problem for macs, is the virus writers want as much recogniation as possible, and you can't get that writing viruses for macs. |
