i'm curious if anyone else has seen some of the mistakes that they made over the summer. I have seen the errors of my ways(mainly a few more things that i should have done over the summer) and hopefully i have learned from them. Anybody else(mainly "newbies") see something that they should have done during the off months of summer?

well my first tale has to do with bandwith. i never really soon the point of using freeband servers because they could basically screw you any time they wanted to so i looked for a host who was cheap. i got exactly what i was looking for a cheap host. the prices were/are unreal for the amount of bandwith they offered. too bad when i logged onto their irc channel i soon found out that the company i gave my credit card # to had the majority of their bots in warez/carding channels.

then as i sat in the room a few hours i saw that their servers apparently go down on an hourly basis. i tried getting help with a problem i was having and their customer service was basically non-exisistant(i was kicked/banned from the channel for asking for help). luckily they were cool when i wanted to cancel the service and they didn't charge me.

because of the summer slow down basically. i was told that the summer is the time to retune your products or at least get products out. this was my first summer in the industry as well.

inly mistake not building enough freesites,my plan was one a day/turn it into AVS, then @ the end of the week hub it....that's about it...was close but slacked off some,,,no regrets though

i kind of fell into the same thing. i'm getting traffic from pages i submitted so long ago that i don't even recall doing them. odd, things on the internet STAY on the internet. its gonna be pretty cool next summer using what i have learned so far(if i make it that far *knock on wood*).
