    What's wrong here?

Ok so my Norton Virus tells me I have the spybot worm or whatever.

So Im looking on how to get rid of it altogether and it says I need to delete some added lines in the registry.

No biggy, but everytime I type regedit and hit run, the registry box opens for only like 2 seconds and then closes....wtf is causing this?
I can't get the window to stay open.

          Alright I figured it out.

I had to run norton and find the file infected, then restart in safe mode to delete that file out of the registry.

Apparently the spybot worm won't let you open regedit.

Actually I'm not sure yet, my Norton thew up a virus detected screen yesterday and I tried to quarentine it, but it didn't work, it made a phony file in my windows/system32 folder called fkujbkytz.exe or something like that

always make sure that your Norton is set to automatic update so you don't have to worry about new viruses

I disabled the system restore, then ran a live update.
The I restarted in safe mode and went to regedit and found that exact file in the registry. I just deleted the line and ran a system scan and all was good after reboot.
