    Dreamweaver HELP

    Okay, WTF.....

I do NOT want to insert the paragraph "p" tag every time I press enter....

I change formatting to "None", but then when I press enter it automatically goes back to "Paragraph" - what the FUCK. I want it to use "br" tags instead of "p", and im sick of having to edit this shit in notepad.

    Help!

use 'control' + 'enter' to create "br" tag

use 'enter' to create "p" tag.

Thats how I do it, but is there a way to set it so that a stroke of the enter key is (br) and shift+enter is the (p) tag?

I had the same problem when I first started using Dreamweaver. Hold SHIFT when you press ENTER and you'll get a break tag.

Setup your own hotkeys. EDIT > Keyboard Shortcuts

Make a custom set. I use the DW3 shortcuts... Old Skuul I suppose.
