    Your first host....

    What did they charge per gig, compared to what you pay now?

    Then (1996): $40.00 per gig (painful lesson).
    Now: $0.47 per gig.

    Can't complain about that.

              my first host was terra.es and was free

              now i only use www.phatservers.net

                  I think it was $5 per gig. Had a free wallpaper website. Burned through about 10gigs a day. Somehow still managed to make bank.

                                                  Hmm...I think it was some guy named Sam. He charged like $12 a gig or something. Site got listed on PK, ran up a huge bill. LoL.
