"Fuel Cell Cars"

http://www.howstuffworks.com/news-item10.htm

" Big enough to seat five people, the P2000 sedan will perform much like the Ford Taurus. Although the Taurus' combustible engine produces 135 horsepower and the P2000 produces 100 horsepower, the P2000 is 40 percent lighter than the Taurus and, therefore, can match the Taurus' performance.

."

what u guys think about this... evolution?...

One of our staff has one of these cars. I laughed at first. Then I took a ride in it. The car drives just like a regular car, and the only differene is when you are at a standstill - you can't hear the car at all.

The gas milage rocks.

gm released a kick-ass prototype of a fuel-cell driven s10 a couple years back that kicks ass.

it didn't specify in this article, but the best part about gm's prototype was the fact it actually ran on gasoline, so you don't have to find a special station to fill up. an on-board refinery converted the gasoline into fuel for the cells. pretty sweet shit, and it obviously used very little gas.

pretty sweet, i wish the article said if these cars do this. maybe i missed it..
